Travel is back and so, too, travel fairs to cater for pent-up demand.
The 2023 Korea Travel Fair, being held 12-14 May in Singapore, will
feature more than 55 exhibitors, including regional tourism
organisations, airlines, travel agencies and Korean retailers.
Travel deals and retail discounts will be offered along with K-pop
and cultural performances, K-movie screenings, K-beauty shows and other
activities.
The official opening ceremony on Saturday, 13 May, at 11.30am will
feature Black Dot, a performance team that combines Korean calligraphy
and taekwondo martial arts to express the true colours of Korea; and a
travel talk show with hallyu celebrity Lee Do-Hyun.
Lee Do-Hyun made his acting debut in the 2017 black comedy Prison
Playbook, was nominated “Character of the Year” at the 2018 SBS Drama
Awards for his supporting role in the romantic television series Still
17 and drew praises for his role as a royal guard in the 2019 dark
fantasy Hotel Del Luna.
Lee Do-hyun recently starred as a romantic plastic surgeon with a
dark secret in Netflix’s The Glory which ranked second in global
viewership.

allows our partners to showcase their products and services, while also
offering consumers a one-stop-shop for all their travel needs,” said Kim
Young Hee, director of Korea Tourism Organization Singapore Office.
The Korea Travel Fair at Our Tampines Hub is open to the public, and admission is free.
