When a job requires an extended stay in a city that is not home, one of the most challenging aspects is finding suitable accommodation. This is the very reason that Sachin Doshi founded Weave Living, a one-stop solution for global citizens in need of a temporary home.

“Weave Living was born out of a necessity to simplify the rental process and my own personal experience of being a newbie and renter in four different cities,” says Doshi, founder and CEO.

He adds, “We take the stress out of finding that dream home. Paying exorbitant security deposits, agency fees and etcetera, particularly for those only staying a few months on project-based assignments, is a ridiculous upfront expense to swallow.”

Since 2017, the company’s mission has been to provide move-in ready rental accommodation with flexible leasing terms. Other pulls include properties at prime city locales, all-inclusive rates, and a global community experience.

Doshi calls this “a new business model for renting and disrupting the rental apartment experience".

The company has a variety of properties in prime locations in both Singapore and Hong Kong, with the most recent being the opening of Weave Suites — Central West in Hong Kong.

This recent opening clearly demonstrates what defines Weave from a typical serviced apartment. In addition to the luxury suites with housekeeping services, the property has a variety of design-forward shared spaces including a gym, state-of-the-art kitchen and dining area, large sun-drenched living room, reading nooks, meeting areas and work spaces.

Community and lifestyle ambassadors are onsite to cater to guests' wellbeing, as well as "a monthly calendar curated to the character of each property [to] provide many opportunities for residents to meet their neighbours and nurture existing relationships inside the property and with the neighbourhood as a whole".

“Life at Weave is not only about convenience but also to live in a community and connect with one another,” says Doshi.

Appealing to the modern urbanite, Weave Suites — Central West's opening is already proving popular: the majority of its larger accommodation options have already been snapped up, less than one week after opening.

There are also plans to open more properties in both Singapore and Hong Kong, with a new Weave Living concept set to open in Hong Kong this summer.

“With overseas business travel and corporate relocations slowly opening back up, our homes are definitely a great fit for those staying either short or long term.”
