Adora Cruises has announced a strategic partnership with Bloks, a
Chinese building blocks brand, to establish the first-ever "AI-STEAM
Exploration Camp at Sea" on board the Adora Magic City, the inaugural Chinese-built large cruise ship.
Bloks is known for its integration of technology and Chinese culture in its building block system.
The collaboration between Adora Cruises and Bloks aims to offer a
distinctive educational and entertainment experience. The "AI-STEAM Sea
Exploration Camp" will provide children on board with AI-STEAM
curricula, games, activities, competitions, and a designated free play
zone. It seeks to pioneer a new form of cruise edutainment, combining
educational games and a fun STEAM environment.
The Adora Magic City, currently under construction at SWS, is a
323.6m long, 135,500-ton ship capable of accommodating up to 5,246
passengers. Apart from the "AI-STEAM Sea Exploration Camp," the vessel
will feature an array of family-friendly amenities, including a water
park with three slides spanning four decks, a 360-degree sea view rope
garden, and a realistic VR game center. Additionally, the ship will
provide specialised services such as themed kids' cabins, children's
catering, and themed parties.
Scheduled to commence operations by the end of 2023, the Adora Magic
City will have Shanghai as its home port during its inaugural season.
Simultaneously, Adora Cruises has initiated the design and construction
phase for its second Chinese-built large cruise ship.
