Amid the flurry of travel fairs in recent months, coming up next is
the ASTINDO Travel Fair 2023, which will take place from 23-26 February
2023 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE BSD City) in Jakarta's
Tangerang.
This event serves as an effort by ASTINDO (Indonesian Travel Agents
Association) to assist travel agents in showcasing their products and
services to a large audience.
"Resuming the amazing result from our previous travel fairs in 2022
and the demand both from loyal clients and travel agencies, ASTINDO
Travel Fair 2023 will be another effort from us as a travel association
to assist our brick-and-mortar travel agent members to position
themselves as service agencies, who could give not only best prices, but
also added value service to the customers," said ASTINDO's chair
Pauline Suharno.
Despite the popularity of online bookings, especially during the
pandemic, Suharno remarked that travel agents have proven that they
understand the needs of customers and are able to put together pieces to
complete their journeys and create unforgettable and priceless
memories.
The ASTINDO Travel Fair 2023, which is part of the largest private
bank expo, aims to be a one-stop shop all traveller needs, with popular
tourist destinations in Indonesia and around the world. Visitors can
explore various travel packages with special values to Indonesia and
overseas destinations, as well as the best offers from supporting
leading airlines for low and high seasons.
Customers can also benefit from cashbacks from the bank sponsor,
extra discounts, free travel insurance, gift vouchers, and souvenirs.
Exhibitors include airlines, cruise lines, hotels, tourist attractions,
travel agencies, travel gear, travel insurance, and more.
ASTINDO is also supporting the government's "Bangga Berwisata di
Indonesia Aja" (BBWI) campaign by providing free booths for travel
agents outside of Jakarta to promote their domestic tour packages.
The association subsidises the booth for its travel agent members, so
all construction costs will be covered. Additionally, the fair offers a
4,680 sqm space for exhibitors to showcase their products and services.
For travel agents, the ASTINDO Travel Fair 2023 presents the
opportunity to attract new customers, stay updated about travel trends
and destinations worldwide, discover new leads, and expand and
consolidate business connections.
