It is now possible to hold your next video meeting in the comfort of a business class seat, behind pilots in the cockpit, or in an airport lounge — virtually at least, with Qantas.

The airline has released a series of 10 aviation-themed Zoom backgrounds so travellers may relive the joys of travel.

“Our customers tell us they miss flying as much as getting to the destination itself and this sensory experience will help fill the temporary void while some of us can’t fly because of border closures," said Qantas Group Chief Customer Officer, Stephanie Tully.

Tully added that the project comes at the request of the airline's frequent flyers, who can now also hop on to Spotify and Apple Music to hit play on the actual boarding and in-flight default music on all Qantas flights.

There's also visual accompaniment for the soundtrack on Qantas' YouTube channel, showcasing aerial footage of some of Australia's famous landscapes.

Malaysia Airlines is also in on the ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) game, with its 30-minute recording capturing familiar sounds from the departure hall of Kuala Lumpur International Airport to boarding flight MH4 and flying towards the UK.
