Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has set new attendance records despite
the destination’s late reopening. Even amidst the ongoing pandemic, the
resort saw a remarkable 22% increase in local attendance and Magic
Access membership. Building on this achievement, the resort is gearing
up to delight guests with a series of new magical offerings.
One of the most eagerly anticipated additions to Hong Kong Disneyland
is the World of Frozen, a one-of-a-kind Frozen themed land. Opening its
gates in November, this immersive experience will transport visitors
into the beloved icy kingdom of Elsa, Anna, and their lovable companion
Olaf. Guests will be able to embark on enchanting adventures, surrounded
by the iconic sights, sounds, and characters from the beloved Frozen
franchise.
Another highlight on the horizon is the reopening of Disney's
Hollywood Hotel. Welcoming guests with a fresh and invigorated ambiance,
the hotel will showcase a newly redesigned lobby and two enticing
restaurants. Starting in mid-July, visitors will have the opportunity to
bask in the renowned Disney hospitality while enjoying the hotel's
updated and stylish surroundings.
October will mark the unveiling of the captivating Walt Disney and
Mickey Mouse statue, aptly named "Dream Makers." This monument pays
tribute to the visionary behind the Disney legacy and represents the
magic that continues to inspire generations. The statue will serve as a
reminder of the imagination and innovation that have made Disney an
enduring symbol of enchantment.
To ensure guests have ample opportunities to experience the wonders
of Hong Kong Disneyland, the resort will review market conditions and
adjust its operations accordingly. Starting from mid-June, the resort
aims to open six or seven days a week.
