On September 1, Bob van den Oord will assume the role of CEO, succeeding current CEO Brett Butcher.

Bob van den Oord, who is currently the regional vice president for Europe, Middle East, and North America, will become the CEO of the Langham Hospitality Group on 1 September 2023.

Van den Oord will be taking over the mantle from Brett Butcher who will continue in other roles within Great Eagle, the parent company, as well as remain CEO of Listed Langham Hospitality Investment.

Backed by a 20-year track record with Langham Hospitality Group, van den Oord has held various leadership positions in the company, playing a vital role in organisational transformation, brand development, and operational excellence as the COO and senior vice president of sales and marketing.

As the new CEO, Bob will focus on elevating Langham Hospitality Group's portfolio, which includes brands like The Langham Hotels & Resorts, Cordis, Eaton, and Ying'nFlo. He aims to drive growth, expand the company's global footprint, enhance operational efficiency, and innovate the guest experience through partnerships and digital advancements.

KS Lo, chairman and managing director of Great Eagle Holdings, expressed confidence in Bob's appointment, emphasising his strategic capabilities and strong relationships with stakeholders.
