If you love getting down and dirty, the Boryeong Mud Festival in Korea will be the place to be from July 19-28.
For 10 days straight in the Daecheon Beach area (Mud square), visitors and locals indulge in mud mayhem, including mud wrestling, mud sliding and swimming in the giant mud bath.
But it’s not just for fun. Boryeong mud is well-known for being rich in minerals that are beneficial to the skin as well as cooling in the summer heat.

Other, more gentle activities and performances are on offer, such as the mud massage zone, special food zone, mud tram car, and yacht parade.
K-POP performances, EDM concerts and fireworks will take the fun into the night.
