Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), which was originally scheduled to hold the PATA Travel Mart (PTM) in Leshan, Sichuan, China, will take place as a virtual edition come September 23-27.

According to the Bangkok-based association, Virtual PTM will mirror and enhance the B2B travel contracting and virtual networking features of the long-standing PTM. In the virtual format, the mart will also offer cost-effective seller booth fees at significantly below market rates.

The event is being organised in conjunction with the Sichuan International Travel Expo with the support of the Leshan Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau and is powered by official virtual partner Dragon Trail Interactive.

The event will offer two full business days with a possibility of up to 50 appointments across all time zones from September 24-25. There will also be two trade visitor days on September 26-27. Furthermore, there will be further networking opportunities at the interactive networking breaks, as well as opportunities to gain deeper insights into the industry at the presentation hall. Event delegates can also enjoy a 360° view of the Sichuan International Travel Expo through the Virtual PTM 2020 platform.

Highlights of Virtual PTM 2020 include an interactive exhibition experience, video meets, live forums, buyer incentives, plus games and giveaways.

Sellers can enjoy an early bird rate for a Standard Booth Space at US$499 for PATA Members, US$599 for PATA Chapter Members, US$799 for non-members by August 15, 2020.
