Hurtigruten Expeditions has announced key developments aimed at
expanding its expedition business and reinforcing its position in the
adventure travel sector with a series of new appointments and the
establishment of a regional sales office in Shanghai.
The company has appointed Alex Delamere-White as the chief commercial
officer. Boasting an extensive background in travel, leisure, and
hospitality, Delamere-White joins the Hurtigruten Expeditions Executive
Leadership Team. His previous experience includes spearheading sales and
marketing teams, e-commerce, and loyalty programmes for renowned cruise
brands such as P&O Cruises, Cunard, and Princess Cruises. Most
recently, he held the position of chief commercial officer at McCarthy
Stone, a prominent property developer.

This expansion extends to the Asia Pacific region, with the addition
of four new team members serving Greater China. Damian Perry, APAC
Managing Director, will lead the team, with Joe Zoe appointed as China
sales director responsible for Greater China (Mainland China, Taiwan,
and Hong Kong). The sales team will also include Sabrina (Hui) Ju, Nora
(Junru) Huang, Yolan (Yan) Wang, and Belle (Sijia) Liu. These strategic
moves highlight Hurtigruten Expeditions' commitment to establishing a
physical presence in the rapidly growing travel market of Greater China.
